3-Car Crash Shuts Down Busy Road In Hudson Valley

A serious three-car crash left a pickup truck on top of another vehicle and caused a busy Hudson Valley intersection to close for a period of time, fire officials said. 

The three-vehicle crash happened in Mahopac at the intersection of Westshore Drive (Route 38) and Drewville Road (Route 36).

The crash happened on Tuesday, April 25 around 2 p.m. in Putnam County at the intersection of Drewville Road (Route 36) and Westshore Drive (Route 38) in Mahopac, according to the Mahopac Volunteer Fire Department. 

No one involved in the crash suffered any reported injuries. 

However, the incident required the road to be closed for a little more than half an hour so the three vehicles could be removed, the fire department said.
